Latest JAMB News Update

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has continued its preparations for the upcoming 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with nationwide activities this week. One of the major developments is the ongoing accreditation of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across Nigeria. JAMB officials have been deployed to inspect centres to ensure they meet the required technical and security standards before approval.
According to the board, CBT centres previously used are not automatically qualified for the next examination cycle, as fresh assessments are mandatory every year. This step is aimed at improving examination integrity and reducing technical challenges during UTME.
Meanwhile, JAMB has advised candidates and the public to rely only on official announcements from the board, warning against rumors and misleading information circulating online.
As preparations continue, candidates are encouraged to stay informed and begin early academic planning ahead of the 2026 UTME registration.
